(ONTARIO, California, May 14, 2024) – The Ontario Convention Center (OCC) and Toyota Arena are making the world a better place, raising thousands of dollars for local charities.

This week, representatives from ASM Global CSR, OCC and Arena presented checks for $5,000 each to Stater Bros. Charities and House of Ruth – money raised at the two popular facilities.

“We are thrilled to be able to support these two amazing nonprofit organizations as they transform lives across our region. Their mission-driven work aligns with our own goal of making Greater Ontario and the Inland Empire a better place for all,” said Shannon Perry, General Manager of the Ontario Convention Center.

“We are honored to support the extraordinary work that Stater Bros. Charities and House of Ruth do every day,” said Gus Le Grand, General Manager of Toyota Arena.

Stater Bros. Charities, the nonprofit arm of Stater Bros. Markets, helps uplift Southern California communities through fundraising and investing in local nonprofits that provide hands-on support. Stater Bros. Charities helps advance nonprofit goals, focusing on hunger relief, children’s well-being, education, health, and care for veterans and active service members.

House of Ruth provides, housing, counseling, legal and other supportive services for victims of domestic violence. The organization was created in 1978 and within a few years opened an 18-bed shelter with the help of the Ontario Community Foundation.

“We are extremely grateful for the generosity and support of the Ontario Convention Center.   Their partnership assists House of Ruth in our mission of preventing domestic violence and ensuring the safety and well-being of those impacted and makes a huge difference in the lives of survivors and their families,” said Rhonda Beltran, Chief Development Officer for House of Ruth.
