Big Baller Brand POP UP Shop is coming to you live here at The Junior Basketball Association Inaugural Season for two exciting premier games. One ticket is good for both action-packed games.
The JBA league is setting out to discover the next professional basketball superstars. Special athletes that have the natural IQ, physicality, and mindset to become the best basketball players in the world. Come see the new era of basketball.
The JBA League’s mission is to create opportunities for players seeking a professional career in basketball. We strive to prepare our players by teaching them financial literacy, media preparation, and sociological independency. Providing them a platform to earn a living through basketball and/or other institutional resources.
The JBA League tryouts wrapped up recently as the final spots were filled with the New York Ballers after a stop in Philadelphia the day before. The tour consisted of hitting 8 major cities to find the best basketball players for the inaugural JBA League season. With stops in Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, and the aforementioned Philadelphia and New York.
According to JBA League organizers, the tryouts were filled with aspiring young athletes who were motivated by the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream. The atmosphere was described as intense, and highly competitive, where at least 100 participants averaged throughout the 8 cities, with as many as 300 attendees showing up to the Dallas tryouts.
Many athletes described the experience as life-changing, and some were overwhelmed with emotion and driven to tears at the thought of being a part of history. Even those who did not make a roster were glad to be a part of the experience with many stating they are forever part of the JBA League family.
When roster spots are finalized in the coming days, players are expected to continue on and off-court preparation for training camp, which commences in Los Angeles from June 10th-20th.
The season opener is slated for June 21st in Ontario, California at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Teams playing have not officially been released, but the complete schedule can be viewed below. There will be a break just before the playoffs for selected players to participate in the JBA All-Star Game, which takes place August 2nd at Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
